ALLEN, Margaret Eleanor (nee Chisholm) 1929-2022
We announce the passing of Margaret on Saturday, February 26 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late William “Lefty” Allen (1999) and dear mother of the late Sandy Kirkwood (2021) and the late Susan Allen (2020). Loving grandmother to Daniella. Dear sister to Joan. Will be missed by her son-in-law Bob and by her extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Alexander Place for all of their compassionate care. In accordance with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Burlington Humane Society.
