Margaret Edwards Keddy 1930-

KEDDY, Margaret (Edwards) born on June 4, 1930, on Covey Hill, QC, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2022 at the age of 91. Most loved and cherished wife of the late R. Edwin Keddy for nearly 65 years. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her children Rick (Marie), Linda (late Webb) and Karen (Tom); her grandchildren Sara (Cam), David (Chantelle), Angela (Adam), Jesse (Catherine) and Marty (Stephanie); great- granddaughter Eleanor and great-grandson Jake. Also survived by her brother Keith (Pat) and sister-in-law Carol (late Mac) and many nephews and nieces. Margaret was predeceased by her brothers Charles (Laura), Brand and Mac Edwards.
Margaret loved the community of Hemmingford and throughout the years was active in many local organizations; specifically, Women Institute, Eastern Star, Hemmingford Library, Hemmingford Archives, United Church, Meals on Wheels and Barrington Quilters.
Throughout the years with husband Edwin, they enjoyed travelling, dinner with friends & family and were active members of the Hemmingford Golf Club since it began in 1965. Margaret was a loving, caring and doting grandmother to her beloved grandchildren.
A private burial will take place and a memorial of Margaret’s life will be held at later date to be announced. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at the CHSLD Huntingdon for their constant care and support.
