À la mémoire de
Margaret Dolbec (nee Blakely)
6 août 1923 –
26 mars 2022
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Margaret Dolbec (nee Blakely) on March 26, 2022, at the age of 98. Her final days were spent surrounded by family, whom she loved very much. Survived by her children Lynn Lennox (Graeme), Maureen Thompson (Ted) and Gregg Dolbec (Krista). Dearly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Dolbec and her partner Charles Arancio. Margaret was born in Chatham, New Brunswick, moved to Montreal, Quebec where she met and married her husband, raised their family, and eventually moved to Mississauga, Ontario. Margaret was a lovely ballroom dancer, a talented painter, and she loved to sew. She enjoyed her winters in Florida, but was always happy to come back to be with family, as they were extremely important to her. The family would like to thank Spectrum Heath Centre for their dedication to her wellbeing, as well as Credit Valley Palliative Care Unit and Care Partners at her life’s end. A special thanks to Erinview Retirement Home, where she had resided for the last five years. The family are so greatful to everyone, for the care and kindness always given. It meant a lot to her and her family. In memory of Margaret, pay it forward and do something kind for someone that will make a difference in their life. Donations made to the Canadian Red Cross, Humane Society, Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
