1942-2022
With her family by her side, Margaret Joanne Demmings of Aroostook,
NB, passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2022.
Margaret was born in Johnville, NB, on January 15, 1942. She was the
daughter of the late Eugene and Gertrude (Ball) Connors. Margaret
leaves behind her sons, Rodney Demmings (Lynn) and Darryl Demmings
(Nicole), both of Aroostook, NB; her grandchildren, Logan, Dustin,
Rebecca, Katelyn, and Alex; her great grandchildren, Scarlet and Quil;
her sister, Dorothy Gallagher of Johnville, NB,; her brother, Ambrose
Connors of Nackawic, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Marven Demmings;
her brother, Murray Connors.
Margaret was a retired nurse. She worked for a few years in Ontario,
but worked for the majority of her career at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph
Hospital. She had a 35 year career in total.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4
and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022
at 11 am from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Father Gilbert
Doddatto celebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a
later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Our Lady of Mercy
Catholic Church or Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the
family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
