OWENS, Marcelle “Debra” Joy Anne ~ age 66 passed away at home, November 2nd, 2022. Born in Ottawa, she was a daughter of the late Marcel and Wilda (Telford) Robillard. Debra was involved with Girl Guides of Canada, in her younger years, achieving the highest honor. She worked for Canada Card, then trained in the nursing field, working at the Civic Hospital; later at the Riverside Hospital as a morgue attendant. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Philip; sisters, Cheryl, Peterborough, ON; Kathy (Doug) Zacharis, Otter Lake, QC; brother, William (Denise) Portugaise, Almont, ON. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Rodolphe Portugaise. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date. Interment in St. Monica’s R.C. Cemetery, Middleton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada.
