Marceline Marcie Renaud 2022

Marceline passed peacefully on September 6, 2022. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved Johnnie (1996) and two of her children, Catherine (1954) and Melanie (1960). Predeceased by her parents Alphonse and Rose Menard of LaSalle, ON.
Our loving Mom will be dearly missed by her children Gwen Demers, Jay and Judy, Chris and Trudy, Michael and Mariette Peever of Toronto, Davide and Connie Giglio, Mary Renaud and Jim Demers (2017).
Marcie has been blessed to be Mémé, Grandma, Nana, Maga, Grand-Maman and Great-Nana to 30 wonderful grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her sister Rita Bergeron and her many nieces and nephews. Marcie was pre-deceased by her brothers Henry (1989), Norman (2007) and Alphonse (1996).
Marcie was a long-time and proud employee of Rex Tool and Mold Ltd. where she worked until the age of 78. She was a former parishioner of Blessed Sacrament and St. John Vianney Parishes where she valued her commitment to the community and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Our family would like to thank all staff at Heron Terrace Windsor, especially Mom’s second family of the Bird’s View Lane team for their loving care, support and friendship. Thank you to our dear friends at Amy’s Helping Hands who provided Mom with excellent care while at home. Thank you to Dr. W. Liang, Dr. R. Parachar and Dr. M. Bacon for their exceptional care and compassion provided to Mom over the years.
Like so many others, Mom was a COVID-19 survivor.
Thank you to the incredible team of medical professionals at the WRH Field Hospital, including Dr. Chevalier and Dr. Kennette. Together with the outstanding care at Heron Terrace, they helped Mom survive the virus.
As per Mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation and we will be celebrating her remarkable life with a private funeral Mass. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
In remembrance of our mother Marceline, if you wish, please consider a donation to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or the charity of your choice.
