Marcel Jr. Victor Paul Hoffert (M.J) age 22 Aug 6,1999 – May 14,2022 Beloved son to Kimberly Denise Lewis (neeMcGregor) partner Eldon Toulouse and Marcel Sr Hoffert. Dear Brother to Dylan McGregor (Jacky) and Nathan MacIsaac (predeceased). Loving Grandson to Victor and Mildred Toulouse (nee McGregor, predeceased) and Paul Hoffert (predeceased). Nephew to Joey McGregor (Marcia), Kevin McGregor (Ashley), Danny Hoffert and Russel Hoffert. MJ grew up with Aiden as his little brother, he was a Proud Uncle to Ciara, Hailey and Kylie (predeceased). Loving stepson to Darrel Lewis. M.J had also found himself another Grandma in Margaret Toulouse of Sagamok Anishnawbek. M.J will be sadly missed by the friends and cousins he allowed close into his heart. M.J had a childlike spirit, he got along great with the young ones. Often heard, “he was fun to play with”. He made sure they were active in play, engaging closely, with plenty of laughter and excitement shared. M.J was apart of the Eagle clan. In his early years, he was given the Anishnaabe name “He who Soars to Protect the Nation”. Although it is unfortunate to have to say our Goodbyes to his physical state, there can be comfort found in knowing his spirit will remain strong as he Soars Proudly to Protect our Nation. It is said that M.J may have found his higher calling, and for him… there was turning back. Funeral Service May 23 at 10 AM in St Raphael’s Parish with cremation to follow.
