Obituary of Manja Erzetic
Peacefully in her sleep, on Wednesday September 28, 2022, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Stan (1998). She will be missed by her loving daughters Carla Pahulje, Eva, and Simona Hart (Bob). Devoted and cherished Nana of Greg, Martin (Lisa), Thomas, Jillian (Tim), Adam (Hayley) and great Nana of Hudson and Elliott. “Missy” will be missed by her loving neighbours Mark, Anne, and Charlotte. After the war, and leaving her home country of Slovenia, Manja made her new home in Hamilton, being a dedicated founding member St. Gregory the Great Church, as well as being actively involved with volunteering her time and a member of what is now called Community Living Hamilton. Manja loved to travel, especially being a tour guide for her daughters on several trips to Slovenia in recent years. She also visited many countries in Europe, including pilgrimages to Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal, being in Rome at the time of the funeral of Pope John Paul II, and even to Jerusalem at the age of 80. Manja was a woman of deep faith, love for her family, and love of her heritage that she was able to share when her grandchildren had the experience of travelling to her home country. She will be dearly missed by friends and extended family in Canada and Slovenia. In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Living Hamilton or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Manja
