Passed suddenly but peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, on Friday, May 13, 2022 Mamie Powell of Charlottetown aged 73 years. Predeceased by parents Jane and Charles Davis; mother in law Eliza Murphy; father in law Norman Tucker; brothers Claude and Clyde; brother in law Alex. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Roland of 55 years. Children; Danny (Frances), Shawn (Shirley), Wiley (Letsie), Glenda (Bert); special grandson Ryan; granddaughters, Danielle, Melanie, Kyanna, Haley, Kayla and Kerry; great grandchildren Damon, Aliyah, Kallie, Kenley, Charlotte, Grayson; sister Bessie; sister in law Donna; brothers, Carl (Leah) Manual (Lori), Gerald (Sharon), Clifford (Christine), Hedley (Marie), Stewart (Vera), Howard (Gaylene), Hubert; step mother in law Gertie Norman; and a large circle of family and friends. Visitation to be held at the Salvation Army Citadel in Charlottetown on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2:30-4 and 7-9 P.M. and Monday, May 16, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Charlottetown on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Special thank you to her home care workers Wanda Toope and Melissa Clements for their care and compassion. Also, a special thank you to her neighbour Scott Smith for all his help.
