Magda Batky passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and her loving support team, on October 13th 2022.
She was fearless and inspirational, taking on many adventures during her lifetime. She was born and grew up in Hungary, and she taught in South Africa, before moving to Canada. She was an expert advisor in the plastics and chemical industries, working with a wide range of technology- based firms.
Magda was known for her excellence in cooking, and her love of art, music and the opera. She also drew great strength from her mindfulness practice.
Magda leaves behind her family in Hungary, as well as dear friends in Europe, and countless others in Toronto and the GTA.
A celebration of her life was held online.
Special thanks to Hospice Toronto for their care and support during Magda’s final weeks.
