Madeline Josephine Byrne

Byrne, Madeline (Doll)
It is with heavy hearts and sadness that the Byrne family have to say good-bye to our loving sister Madeline (Doll) after a brief illness.
Madeline is predeceased by her parents, Marie (Callahan) and Charlie Byrne, along with deceased members of the Byrne and Callahan families.
Madeline (Doll) leaves two sisters and four brothers with fond and loving memories: Angela (Darrell McGinn), RoseMarie (Gregory Alexander), Charlie (Betty Murphy), Don (Colleen), Edward (Sherry), Paul (Kim).
Along with Ron and Marg Byrne (Aunt and Uncle) and Special Friend/Aunt RoseMarie Daley.
Affectionately called “Aunt Doll” by her many nieces and nephews (along with great nieces and nephews) who remember Doll as the “Funnest” aunt of all time: Jacqueline (Fred Ottenheimer), Trevor Raymond (Vanessa), Stephen Raymond (Sheryl), Karla Swift (Dave), Charlotte Alexander, Charlie Alexander, Chad Byrne, Marina Byrne, Brad Byrne (Lauren), Kevin Byrne (Sarah), Kelsey Goulding (Mark), Carly DeMedeiros (Kyle), Olivia Ottenheimer-Byrne (Adam), Issac Ottenheimer-Byrne, MacKenzie Byrne, Michael Byrne, Krystyn Hawco (Brandon); Great-nieces and nephews: Angeline, Danny, Zachary, Rhea, Logan, Willow, Joshua, Selena, Annie, Cooper, Madeline, Anne, Callahan, Marie-Claire, Emma, Lucas, Lincoln, Shannon, Dominic, Arianna, Malaki, Avery, Liam, Landyn, Thomas, Renly, and Mia. Many special memories of Madeline (Doll) are held by the extended Byrne and Callahan family cousins, many who were like brothers and sisters to “Doll”.
Madeline’s working career consisted of many avenues, Canadian Red Cross, Bull Arm and Long Harbour work sites. The most important avenue of her work career being her latest as a Personal Care Worker for the elderly (Madeline being a senior herself at 71 years). Madeline’s compassion and caring personality always shined through in the care of her many clients.
All of the Byrne Family would like to pass on our condolences to Madeline’s many close and dear friends, as well as her community of friends at #1 Penny Lane, Torbay Estates.
The Byrne family would like to express a heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital Emergency Department for the care given to Madeline. Thank you for your caring and kind support given to our family.
