Obituary of Madeleine Rouillard
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Madeleine Rouillard (née St. Laurent) on June 5, 2022, at Foyer Richelieu, at the age of 93. Beloved mother of Michel (Kim) Rouillard and Julie (David) Loewy. Madeleine will be greatly missed by her brothers and sisters, as well as her grandchildren Megan Rouillard, Patric Rouillard. Predeceased by her loving husband Julien Rouillard and their daughter Gisele Rouillard.
Madeleine was known as the Bingo Queen and enjoyed socializing with all her bingo pals. She loved all animals especially birds. She also enjoyed baking strawberry pies and sugar pies and spent many hours canning tomatoes, peaches etc. for our cold cellar. She also enjoyed her ocean cruises with her sister Jacqueline and her late husband Julien.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main Street, Welland on Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Foyer Richelieu, or the Niagara SPCA would greatly be appreciated by the family.
