A resident of Chatham, Lynn Steele passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a short illness endured with dignity and strength.
She was the daughter of the late Alfred Steele and Jackie Binnington.
Dearly loved by her husband and best friend Bruce Perry. Cherished Mother to Jason Steele (Jessica).
Loving grandma to Nathan, Remi, Zelda, and Zack. Fond memories of grandma’s reading time will never be forgotten.
She will be missed by her siblings Brenda Wilson, Kathy Young (Richard), Jackie Miele (Henry), and many nieces, nephews andamp; extended family.
Born Toronto on November 9, 1963, and eventually making her way out to Paradise, Newfoundland where she was a Team Manager of the Tim Hortons. Her and Bruce made their way back to Ontario where she continued her role throughout many Tim Hortons in Ontario before settling in Chatham. She was always the familiar and smiling face that many grew to love.
Lynn will be remembered by her famous camping trips, including years spent in Newfoundland with her partner. Together, they shared many memories camping whenever they had an opportunity. She enjoyed spending her time outdoors, having campfires and gathering with family and especially her grandchildren. Her and Bruce lived a simple life and enjoyed every minute of it.
As per Lynn’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
