Obituary of Lynne Fournier
Lynne passed away at the hospital in Ottawa on November 14th, 2022, at the age of 79 years after a lengthy illness. Left to mourn her passing are her children; Patti of Ottawa, Paula Sergeant (Lloyd) of Perth and Greg (Sam) of Rockland. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Amy Smith (Bryan), Taylor Sergeant (John), Kimberly Gabrielli (Mike), Connor Sergeant (Mykenna) and Emily Fournier (Ian) and her 3 great grandchildren, Maliki, Grace and Carter. Lynne was predeceased by her parents Harold and Helen Munn and her siblings Greggory Munn, Marilyn Beckstead, Robert Munn (Louise) and Anita Plummer (Geoff).
Lynne was born and raised in Perth but moved to Ottawa in her thirties and soon called it home. She settled into her community and was loved by all her friends and neighbors. She always had a fresh cup of coffee waiting for you, a bright smile and a kind heart waiting to offer aid, advice, encouragement or compassion as needed. She was a genuine caring person who gave much of herself to others.
Lynne was also an avid lover of sports. In particular, she never missed an Ottawa Senators game, nor an Ottawa Roughriders or later an Ottawa Red Blacks game. If you heard shouts of glee coming from her house, you could be certain that either a goal or touchdown was scored for Ottawa.
Lynne has a wonderful kind spirit who had a very tender place in her heart for animals in need which spanned her entire life, resulting in countless happy rescues of four-legged friends.
The time she spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her siblings meant everything to Lynne and truly made up her most precious memories.
Her kindness will be remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing her and loved her.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Monday November 21st, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of Lynne’s funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 P.M. A reception will follow in the Blair & Son Reception Centre. The interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, 165 Dufferin Road, Perth. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or any charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lynne
