Lynne’s Obituary
NIXON, Lynne Carol ~ age 76 passed away at home, January 10th, 2022. Lynne was a daughter of the late Max and Christina (Marshall) Bent. Lynne is survived by her husband, John; daughter Amy and her partner Kenny; sisters, Donna (Robert) Elliott, Susan (Charles) Francheville, Deborah Fanning (late David Fanning) and many nieces and nephews. Throughout life Lynne had a great love for felines. Growing up on the family farm in Tupperville, she always had a cat with an exotic name. Fortunately, she was able to return to her ancestral home and enjoy many family occasions as the farm is owned by her niece and family. Lynne had a lifelong career in childcare. She truly cared for the children entrusted to her and they enjoyed her culinary expertise. Her baking skills were also enjoyed by her family as Lynne made numerous rich homemade birthday cakes, beautifully decorated over the years. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date. Interment in Round Hill Cemetery, Round Hill. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA or Hope for Wildlife. Online guestbook may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
