Lyndon’s Obituary
PENNEY, John “Lyndon” – age 79, of Yarmouth passed away, at home, October 6th, 2022. Born July 2nd, 1943 in Yarmouth, Lyndon was the son of the late Arden and Phyllis (Vickery) Penney. He worked repairing electronics and selling cars. In his retirement you could see him out having coffee with his “Coffee Crew”. He enjoyed reading the Newspaper, car magazines and news articles on his iPad. He went and visited his wife Marsha nearly everyday. Lyndon is survived by his loving wife, and their son Doug (Melanie) Penney. Also surviving are his grandchildren Thomas and Madison Penney and sister Heather (Tom) Wood. Aside from his parents Lyndon is predeceased by his son Sean Penney. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. A private graveside service will be held at Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lyndon may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
