Obituary of Lynda Jean Nice
It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Lynda Jean Nice, wife of David Nice of Quispamsis, announce her passing on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Born in Sus, on April 29, 1946, she was a daughter of the late John and Jean Betteridge.
In her younger years, Lynda enjoyed raising cats. She was an avid animal lover and had passion for lawn ornaments. Lynda adored her grandchildren and watching them grow. She loved gardening and contributing to the deer and squirrel population on the Chamberlain Road. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Besides her husband, Lynda is survived by her daughters; Lindsey Nice of Lower Greenwich, and Robbin Sutton (Matthew) of Quispamsis, brothers; Douglas Betteridge (Nancy) of Quispamsis, Johnny Betteridge (Brenda) of Quispamsis, and Paul Betteridge of Quispamsis, sisters; Sharon Guitar (Wendall) of St. Stephen, Valerie Hutchins (Vaughan) of Sus, and Nancy Betteridge (David Steele) of Quispamsis, grandchildren; Blake and Hailey, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Besides her parents, Lynda is predeceased by her brother David Betteridge, and sister Judy Betteridge.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, from Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel at 10 AM. Interment to take place at Riverbank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
