It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lynda on December 13, 2022; she was surrounded by her family.
She was the cherished and loving daughter of Mona and the late Ed Reid; beloved sister of Margaret, Cindy (Terry) and Robert (Wendy)
Lynda loved being an aunt to Melissa, Mathieu and William and will always be remembered.
Lynda will be sorrily missed by her wonderful neighbours, many friends and her wee dog ‘Bigz’.
Over her years Lynda met and educated many people through her professional career at OMERS. Lynda worked hard and took much pride in her job; she excelled at what she did.
With her move to Amherstburg Lynda took much pride in her beautiful home and her ‘ride’. She and her mom Mona spent many happy hours enjoying their gardens and relaxing on their porch; she was our BBQ Queen.
Our Lynda could be a tough nut on the outside, but she was a big marshmellow on the inside; she loved hard and fiercely. To be a friend of Lynda’s you knew she always had your back.
The family would especially like to extend their thanks to Lynda’s personal physician Dr. Cormier and her ICU nurses Lynda, Jim and Sam and her ICU doctor, Dr. Masri at Windsor Regional Hospital.
Cremation has taken place – a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
