Lynch, Brendan Anthony Joseph
December 31st, 2021
Peacefully, with his family and God at his side, at University Hospital, London, Brendan Lynch, in his 84th year passed away on December 31st, 2021. Brendan is the beloved husband of Anne (McCourt) for 61 years. Loving father to his five daughters; Brenda (John) Spinozzi, Amanda (John “Kaz” Jaronski) Woods, Mary (Andrew Bisceglia) Lynch, Julie (Darren Death) Harmer, Ann (Mark) Walton. Dear Papa to Leslie (Craig) Russell, Rachael (Jared) Park, Lisa (Adam) Petrenko, Jennifer (James “Bucky”) Spinozzi-Piper, Alexa (Jordan Kane) Littleton, Mark (Mackenzie Shaw) Spinozzi, John (Jamie Vallance) Harmer Jr., Caroline Harmer, Isaiah Bisceglia. Great Grandpapa to Ava, Zach, Declan, Brendan, Xander, and baby Jack (2022). He will be dearly missed by his brother Joseph (Mary) Lynch (Dublin), his sister-in-law Sister Bridget McCourt (n.Ireland), all of his family in Ireland and Canada, and his many friends. Brendan will be welcomed into heaven by his predeceased parents, Joseph and Julia Lynch, sister, Sheila (Johnny) Graham, and brother, Desmond (Peg) Lynch. And by his sons-in-law John McLeod and John Harmer Sr. After serving as Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Navy for 16+ years, Brendan and his wife Anne courageously brought their five little girls from n.Ireland to Canada. Brendan’s beautiful Irish tenor voice and his renditions of Danny Boy and Ave Maria will sing forever in our hearts. To describe Brendan as a character would be an understatement. His quick wit, strong faith, and ability to speak with anyone (and he did) brought great comfort to many people. Let’s just say that if you met Brendan, you’ll never forget him, and we pray that you don’t.
