STRENZKE, Lydia
1934-2022
Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the age of 88, surrounded by family.
Beloved wife of the late Siegfried. Loving mother of Wilfrid (Lynn), Helga (Ian), Klaus (Melanie) and Victoria (Mike). Devoted Oma of Kirsten (Brad), Jeff (Samantha), Caroline (Dean), Emily, Andrew, Avery, Simonne, Will and Gross Oma to 8 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Herta Eichinger and sister-in-law of Ruth Grisebach, Hans (Evi) and Erika Guenther. Predeceased by her parents and sister Bertha Muller.
Lydia immigrated to Alberta, Canada from Germany and shortly afterwards moved to the Kitchener area. After marrying Siegfried, together they farmed in the Maryhill area for more than 50 years. She loved spending time with her family, in particular her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lydia was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Kitchener.
