Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Luke Cox announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Cole (Val) – Cambridge Ont, Derek (Jackie) – Moncton NB, Vince, Barbara, Luke Jr (Lori) – Brampton Ont, Katie (Sheldon), Clement (Linda), Ramona (Lewis). Brother Ralph Cox. Special nephew Ross Janes. 26 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Luke was predeceased by his wife Doris Cox (2001). Daughter Trudy Cox (2021). Siblings; Bill Cox, Walter Cox, Amy Murrin, Edna Janes, Eileen Welshman, Alfreda Buffet, Martha Barnes and Clara House. Daughter-in-law Marilyn Cox (2013). Special nephew Keith Cox (2015). Parents-in-law Philip and Mary Payne. Brother and sisters-in-law Angus Payne, Wilfred Payne and Susan Buffet. A visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 2nd 2022 at 1:00 pm from where a funeral service will take place at 2:30 pm with Pastor Jamie Rowsell officiating. Cremation to take place following the funeral service. Interment to be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are accepted. Donations can be made to a charity one’s choice.
