Lue Eugenie Mea Stewart, wife of Claude Stewart of Sillikers NB, passed away at her late residence on Thursday, March 25, 2022 at the age of 70.
Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Irene (MacTavish) Johnston. She was the secretary for Stewart Lumber Products, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Highland Society.
Besides her husband, she is survived by his daughter Claudia Stewart of Sillikers; her sons, Colin Stewart (Tracy) of Grand Prairie Alberta and Shane Cameron (Shannon) of Halifax; her brother Lunn Johnston (Marilyn) of Miramichi; her grandchildren, Cortney (Dustin), Craig, Chelsey (Tanner) and her great grandchildren, Kira, Owen, Blake, Ashton and Ryker.
She was predeceased by her parents, grandson Brody and brother Laurie.
Lue Eugenie Mea Stewart is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Matthew Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot of Little South West Baptist Cemetery, Sillikers.
In her memory, donations to Little South West Baptist Cemetery, Sillikers, Calvary Baptist Church, Miramichi or IWK would be appreciated by the family.
