Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucille Mary Noël announce her peaceful passing at the Mountainview Retirement Center on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 in her 85th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her brother and sister-in-law, Ethelbert and Dorothy Noël; sister-in-law, Rona Noël; two very special nieces: Anita King, Lucille Crewe (Kerry), and their families: Kelly Hollahan (Ed), Nikki King, Adam King (Dany), Brandon Crewe (Allison Pittman), and Melissa Crewe (Christopher Hefler). Lucille also leaves to mourn her very close, lifelong friend, Mae Lambe, and her Beothuck Crescent friends of over 30 years; especially Roger and Jean Down, and Dave and Marie Myles; as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Lucille is predeceased by her parents, Emilien and Mary Noël; brothers and sisters: Marcheta Dunphy (John), Valmore Noël (Mary), Emilien Jr. Noël (Norah), Marcel Noël, John Noël (Deloris), Peggy Sparrow (Joseph), and Simone Campbell (Malcolm); nieces and nephews: Keith Noël, Marcel Noël, and Jacqueline Griffin.
In keeping with Aunt Ludie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends and family at Country Haven Funeral Home on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, and 7:00 – 9:00 PM; from where a funeral service will take place on Monday, June 13th, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the All Hallows Roman Catholic Church with Bishop Bart Van Roigen officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lucille’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
