Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 Lucienne “Lucie” Theresa Kelly (nee Benoit) at the age of 75 years.
She leaves to mourn with many loving memories: husband of 54 years Emile; sons: Liam Kelly (Veronica Young) and Shawn Kelly (Maria Macam); daughter Dianna Kelly; grandchildren: Justin, Shane, Charlotte, and Nayah; brothers: John (Jacqueline), Steve (Debbie), and Henry; sisters-in-law: Pauline (Francis), Joan (David), Mary (George), and Donna; and brother-in-law Kevin (Debbie); as well as a circle of extended relatives and friends.
Lucie was predeceased by: parents Stanislaus and Charlotte Benoit; and brothers-in-law: Gordon and Raph.
Following her wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6th at 2:00- 4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM from Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville. The funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 7th at 10:00 AM from St. Stephen’s Parish. Interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of the South Wing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre for all their care and compassion.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations in Lucie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
