Luciano Domenico Tonial
August 4, 1939 – May 20, 2022
Peacefully on May 20, 2022, at the age of 82. Loving husband of Elena (née Presello) for 60 years. Dear father of Roberto and wife Wendy, David and wife Mel. Cherished Nonno of Daniel and wife Gina, Andrea and husband James. Much loved Bis Nonno of Amelia. Predeceased by his brother Bruno Tonial and his wife Ardia, as well as his parents, Giovanni and Maria Tonial. Luciano will be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Italy and South America.
Luciano immigrated to Canada in 1954, where he met the love of his life Elena. Luciano worked as a Metal Finisher for Chrysler Canada, where he retired after 35 years of service. After retirement, Luciano enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time at the cottage. Luciano was proud to be a long-time member of the Giovanni Caboto Club, serving many years on the Board of Directors and was a recipient of their Award of Merit. Above all, he loved his family dearly and the time spent with them.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Visitation in honour of Luciano and Elena will take place Friday, May 27, 2022 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., with Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m.
Elena Tonial
September 26, 1937 – May 22, 2022
Peacefully on May 22, 2022, at the age of 84, with her loving family by her side. After just two days, Elena is re-united with her loving husband Luciano, with whom she was married for 60 years. Much loved mother of Roberto and wife Wendy, David and wife Mel. Cherished Nonna of Daniel and wife Gina, Andrea and husband James. Much loved Bis Nonna of Amelia. Survived by her siblings in Canada, Amelia Pavan (the late Luigi) and Altieri Presello (Mirella) and her brothers in Italy, Lino and Marco. Predeceased by her parents, Noe and Speranza Presello, as well as her brother Aldo and her sister Olga. Elena will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins, in Canada, Italy and the U.S.A.
Elena immigrated to Canada at age 18, where she met Luciano and began a new chapter in her life with him. Elena was a hard working woman, who received joy from spending time with her grandchildren, enjoying time at her cottage and passing on her love of nature to her granddaughter.
