BLOCK, Louise (Walde)
Passed away at the age of 96 years on July 29, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Herman “Harry” Block. Loving mother of Bev Brandenburg, Leamington, Lennard (Joy Gibson), Delta BC, Alan (Dianne), Calgary AB, Glenn, Raleigh NC. Loving grandmother of Erin (Andrew), Rhea, Meghan (Jesse), Emalee, Adam, Nicholas, Stefanie, Nicole, Eric, William, Carter, Griffin and great grandsons Jack, Winston, Sam, Harry, Rowan. She had a huge influence on so many people as a mother, a grandmother an aunt, and as a friend. Her never-ending curiosity, embracing new things and emphasizing that your attitude makes all the difference, were all values she lived by. Her spirit and essence will live on in all the people that she touched. She will be dearly missed. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Wednesday August 3, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. A celebration of Louise’s life will be held on Thursday August 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow Mennonite Church 3167 Walker Rd. Harrow, with Pastor Karen Sheil officiating. A private family graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
