Passed away at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the age of 79. Predeceased by her husband Otis. Loving mother of Julia (Martin) Nurmi, Janice (Todd) Whyte and Joanne (Derek) Durham. Cherished grandmother of Alexander, Cassandra, Kayla, Logan, Kyle and Sierra. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Etta (late Jim Purvis), survived by her sister Ruthie Heitz. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, July 7 from 12 p.m., where the Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to The Carpenter Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
