Obituary
Louise Hebert born May 9th,1945 in Guy, Alberta passed away peacefully on July 21, 2022 at the age of 77 years in Kelowna, British Columbia. She was born in a world at peace.
Louise is survived by her sister, Betty Gal; brother, Paul Hebert; four nieces; one nephew and eight grandnieces and nephews.
Louise loved her family and friends and always sent birthday/anniversary cards. She was the family historian. Louise worked for 18 years for the Federal Development Bank. She then worked at University of Alberta as an administrative assistant for 22 years. She made friends from around the world through work and would travel to visit them. Louise enjoyed a good game of scrabble and often won. She was a role model – a woman of character, strength and independence. She will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (750 Rutland Rd N, Kelowna) on the 20th of August 2022 at 11:00am which all are welcome to attend.
Details to follow for the Memorial Mass which will be held in Edmonton, Alberta. Louise’s final resting place will be in Girouxville, Alberta where she will join her mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Louise’s name to Roots of Change Foundation rofc.ca/ . A beloved charity of her late uncle Fr. Denis Hebert.
