Louis-Marie Levesque
1943-2022
It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of our father,
Louis-Marie Levesque, 79, of Bouctouche, at home on Saturday May 7,
2022. Born in Jonquière, QC, he was raised in Grande-Anse, NB.
He was the son of the late Adrien and the late Yvette (Leblanc)
Levesque.
He enjoyed talking to people and spent countless hours volunteering as
a volunteer firefighter in Grande-Anse from 1972 to 1980 and became a
member of Crime Stopper as soon as he arrived in Bouctouche in
1996.
Louis-Marie will be sadly missed by his two children; Manon (Francois
LeBlanc) and Marc both of Dieppe, the mother of his children;
Claudette Landry, his five grandchildren; Nicolas, Alexis
(Marie-Andrée), Félix (Brett), Benoit and Audrée. He
also leaves to mourn his four sisters; Georgette Albert (Emile),
Louise Levesque (Jean-Marie Godin) of Grande-Anse, Pierrette Godin
(Roland) of Bathurst, Pauline Levesque (late Denis) of Moncton, his
three brothers; Michel (Majella) of Grande-Anse, Jean-Paul of
Caraquet, Serge Mallet (Ginette Godin) of Saint-Léolin, three
sister-in-law; Bibianne Landry, Marielle Mallet and Géraldine
Poirier, two godsons; Jean-François Albert, Maxime Levesque, one
goddaughter; Mylène White as well as several nephews, nieces and
cousins.
He was predeceased by one sister; Pauline and two brothers; Henri and
Pierre.
Louis-Marie was a volunteer firefighter in Grande-Anse from 1972 to
1980.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Friday May 20, 2022 from 2:00 to
3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 20, 2022 at
the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 4:00
pm.
In Louis-Marie’s memory donations may be made to the Parkinson
Society NB.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
