It is with great sadness that the family announces Lou’s passing on Friday, August 26, 2022. Beloved husband and best friend of Wendy Katz for forty-one years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Sherri and Shawn Paventi, and Ryan Brown. Adored G’pa of his sweet granddaughter Riley. Son of the late Ed and the late Rose Brown. Beloved brother-in law of Frima and Mark Fenster. Brother of Evelyn Brown and the late Harry Brown. Lou will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Special thanks to the staff at Maison Valeo, Pierrefonds for their exceptional care and compassion. Graveside service on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ship Family Circle section of the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Due to Covid, shiva will be strictly private. Please respect the family’s wishes. Donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association (613) 521-1902.
