Sam loved to travel and made friends everywhere she went impacting so many lives throughout her journeys and those close to home as well. She sky dived in her seventies, took the firearms training course and passed with flying colours because she, “Just wanted to know how to shoot a handgun dammit”. She was a force to be reckoned with and she was our Mum and we loved her. She put her stamp on the world and she will be missed.
There are no funeral services, as she requested, and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s society or the heart and stroke foundations of Canada.
