It is with great sadness we announce the passing of
Lorraine Marjory Terris, 89 years of
Springhill on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the East Cumberland Lodge,
Pugwash, 18 days before her 90th birthday.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Roland and
Marjory (McLeod) Robinson.
She was very gifted with her hands making many items for her
grandchildren which are now being worn by her great grandchildren. She
was an excellent homemaker and cook.
She will be dearly missed by her husband Donald E. Terris;
sons, Wayne (Susan) of Edmonton, AB and Bruce (Lyn) of Gander NFLD;
grandchildren, Lindsay, Andrew, Michael, Ethan, Maggie; great
grandchildren, Brixton, Ella and George.
Arrangements have been placed under the care and guidance of
A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) from where the Funeral Service will
take place on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm with K Ruth Gamble,
DLM officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery
immediately following the service.
In lieu of
flowers, donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to St. Andrews
Wesley United Church, Springhill or to a charity of
choice.
