The children of Lorraine Couture regret to announce her death at age 90 after her short battle with cancer and heart complications. Daughter of the late Hadden and Olga Graham, She was predeceased by her husband Orval on November 29h, 2014 and siblings Ivan Graham, Leonard Graham, Lloyd Graham, Mildred Lawrence, Jean Mannette, Patricia Bonneville, Harold and Ronald Graham. She is survived by her sister and good friend, Violett Daggett and sister in law Claudette Sabourin. Left to mourn her loss, are her beloved children, Carol Winch (Gord), Brian (Maureen), Randy (Suzanne), Cathie Rorberg (Jeff), Kelly and Mark. With 90 years of history, she also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, and good friends spread far and wide. Lorraine was a very active member of the Dowling Congregation of Jehovahs’ Witnesses for most of her life. She spent countless hours and miles reaching out to members of the community with a positive message of hope for a better future. She was thankful that her heavenly Father gave her such a fulfilling life and the promise of life again, in a beautiful paradise earth to come – surrounded by peace and love. She was also grateful for the loving care and attention received over these last difficult months. To the caregivers, the many professionals, the friends and family and the many prayers in her behalf, again, ‘thank you’. We will miss her. If you knew her, “You woulda laughed” A memorial service will be held at the Dowling Kingdom Hall at 25 Normand Street Dowling, on September 17th at 2 o’clock.
