Lorne Lewis Ritchie Thursday February 3rd 2022

RITCHIE, Lorne Lewis – it is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Lorne on February 3rd, 2022 in his 82nd year at Belleville General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Lorraine and Lorne Ritchie. Lorne shared 26 wonderful years of marriage with the Love of his Life Mary Lou. Father of Deborah, Cindy and Shelley. Survived by his sisters, Patricia Armstrong (Charles deceased), Catherine Shether (Ben Pederson) and brother Jack Ritchie (Diane), as well as many nieces and nephews. Lorne was a very proud Shriner and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Lodge 420. He will be dearly missed by his Shrine family. Local golf was his favourite summer pastime and enjoyed travelling in the winter to warm destinations. His greatest passion was reading as he was an avid reader. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada. The family wish to thank Dr. Holt, Nurses, and Social Worker Megan at Belleville General Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to the Brighton Funeral Chapel, 130 Main Street Brighton (613-475-2121). On-line condolences at www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
