Obituary of Lori Anne Allen
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lori Anne Allen (nee Boisvenue). Lori died peacefully at home on Monday, January 17, 2022 with her children at her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lori was born in Blind River, ON and grew up in Iron Bridge, ON. She graduated from Blind River District High School and immediately started a family. Lori would often show her appreciation through her baking and humour. She loved providing the best for her family, as well as loving all that is nature, except spiders. Lori had a strong sense of family, determination and work ethic, as well as a compassion for those in need. She was a loving and proud Granny.
Lori was predeceased by her parents, Anatole and Wyona Boisvenue (Degagne); son David Allen; and brother Renald Boisvenue. She is survived by her children Robert (Kerri), Chrystal Bartley (Kevin); siblings Nicole Kunkel (John), Vivian Berry (Buddy), Ronald Boisvenue (Sharon), Deanna Chevis (Allan), and Claudette Grigg (Raymond); grandchildren Nicky Bartley, River Allen, Miranda Bartley, and Paxton Allen; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held in Iron Bridge, ON in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice are greatly acknowledged and accepted in memory of Lori.
