Bathurst – With great sadness, we the family announce the sudden death of our aunt, Lorette Duguay, of Bathurst, which occurred Wednesday January 19, 2022, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 93.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the Nicholas and Basilice (Larocque) Duguay.
She is survived by one sister, Rose Marie Blanchard (Ernest) of Bathurst.
She will be greatly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who loved her very much.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by five sisters: Josephine (en bas âge), Alma (1958), Emerentienne (1995), Irma (2004), Rita (2014) and four brothers: Léopold (1938), Gérald (1972), Wilfred (2014) and Léopold (2016).
There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. A graveside service will be celebrated Thursday July 14th at 2 p.m. Sacred Heart Cathedral Cemetery. Donations in memory of Lorette may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
