Obituary of Loretta Thompson
THOMPSON, Loretta – entered into rest at QHC-Belleville General Hospital on Sunday, February 6th, 2022, at the age of 91. Dear daughter of the late Norman & Helen McGregor (nee Oikonen). Beloved wife of the late Donald John Edward Thompson. Loving mother of late Donna Lake, Norine Thompson (Tony), Ted Thompson (Nicole). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Amanda, Andrea, Michael, Cale, Andrew, Trish, Tela, and by her great-grandchildren; Matthew and Makayla. Dear sister of Carol Veitch (late Ron), Diane Hey (late Alfie), Barbara Botsford (Alan), and Bob McGregor (Sandy). Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Cremation has already taken place with private inurnment at Elmwood Cemetery.
A Memorial Service will be held at Hastings Park Bible Church, 36 Harder Drive, Belleville on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. (with visitation at the church one hour prior to service).
