Obituary of Lois Toth
TOTH, LOIS M (nee Mahon), 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Robbinston Bridge Home in Robbinston, Maine.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Ruth Ann (Fekete) Mahon, Lois graduated from South High School in 1947. In 1950, she married James Toth, also of Cleveland and raised a son, Patrick and a daughter, Patricia, making their home in Chesterland, Ohio, near Cleveland.
Throughout her life, Lois enjoyed nature and loved animals, particularly the many dogs she met during long walks in her beloved Metroparks. She was an avid antiques collector, artist and gardener.
Lois is survived by son Patrick and his wife Julie of Moores Mills, New Brunswick, Canada, grandchildren Emily and Karen, great grandchildren Hunter, Carter, Sawyer and Camryn of St. Stephen, N.B. Canada; sister-in-law Toni Comp (Chuck) of Big Sandy, Montana, and many cherished, life-long friends and neighbors.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband James, daughter Patricia, her brother Dale and grandson David.
By Lois’ request there will be no visitation or service at this time. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place in summer, 2023 when she will be laid to rest alongside James and Patricia in the Chester Township Cemetery, Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio.
