It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and sister; Lois (Nethercott) McLean on Monday, August 22, in her 92nd year, peacefully at Dearness Home, London, Ontario. Lois was born on February 8th, 1931 to Mary (Warren) and Percival Nethercott at the Big Bend farm near Wardsville, Ontario and resided in Mosa Township and Muirkirk, ON. Predeceased by parents Percival and Mary Nethercott, husband Jack (2016), brother Arnold and sister Eleanor Wells. She is survived by sister Phyllis Munro (Lorne), brother Bill Nethercott (Roxanne) brother Marvin Nethercott (Mary), brother-in-law William McLean (late Joyce), son Robert (Bob) McLean, daughter Rosemary Van Gelderen (Dolph). Also by her beloved grandchildren, Micheal Thompson, Genna McLean, Amy Cartmell, Lindsay McLean, Amelia Van Alstyne, Kylie McLean, Robbie McLean, Evie McLean, Levi Van Gelderen, Jacob Van Gelderen, Adrian Van Gelderen, Austen Van Gelderen, Chloe Van Gelderen. Also by great grandchildren, Melissa McLaughlin, Camryn Wilson, Zach Inskip, Marley Dennis, Ocean Ramsey, Morgan Hawco and Indigo, Sage and Evie Cartmell, Jade Romphf and great-great granddaughter Adley McLaughlin. Relatives and friends will be received at Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Sunday from 2-4 where the Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Deb Dolbear-VanBilsen officiating. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
