Lois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, passed away peacefully after suffering a stroke at the age of 84 in Montreal. Lois left the US in 1961 to attend the National Theater School of Canada in Montreal where she met Jack and raised their three girls. Lois trained her voice under Bernard Diamant and sang with several choral groups.
