It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Logan. He leaves behind his Grandmother Cindy O’Donnell, his Aunt Holly O’Donnell, Uncles Chantz and Mackenzie O’Donnell, his Great Aunt Donna, his closest confidant and best friend/girlfriend Samantha Pinel, his cousins Sarah, Zachary, Christopher, as well as his Uncle Remy and his children. He will be remembered in a special light by his Mother’s wifey Jessica Lewis, his family members in Newfoundland including Jocelyn Green O’Keefe and many others. Logan, who was so loved by so many, also leaves behind countless friends and extended family members not mentioned.
Logan could spend hours at the skatepark, everyone would gather around when he was there. He would spend hours as well as $$$ building a scooter or board to make it very personal. He would take the time to show younger kids how easy tricks could be done. Scratched and bruised and broken he would head home when it was too dark to keep going.
As he became an adult he enjoyed nothing more than coming home after a hard day’s work, clinking a cold beer with his uncles, and going over his day!! He surprised us all by still being able to have a big smile on his face, even after a difficult day.
We don’t know anyone that will ever be able to see someone wearing a bucket hat and not immediately think of Logan. He truly was the leader and founder of “The Bucket Hat Gang.”
Logan will forever be remembered as the compassionate, generous, and funny person he was. He was honest and loyal to a fault and never failed to show his family how important they were to him, and if you were Logan’s friend, you were his family. Logan was a fierce and sometimes fiery redhead, who never apologized for who he was, and had such an immense impact on those he met.
For those that knew her, Logan’s Mother, Kimberley O’Donnell, and him had almost all of these character traits in common. They were both beautiful, fiery, unapologetic people. They also both struggled during their journey in this life. Our family hopes that Logan will reunite with Kimberley and together they will be able to rest peacefully.
A Private Family viewing will take place on Thursday March 3, 2022 at the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home. After the service there will be a celebration of life, please see family members for details.
