Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our loving husband, dad, and grandpa. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Lloyd managed his short courageous battle with cancer with strength and grace and wanted to spend his remaining time with his loved ones. On his final day, he was surrounded by his children, who he adored more than anything else in the world.
Dad loved and was loved by his devoted wife of 58 years, Phyllis; children Cheryl (Kevin), Michael (Kerri), and Tracy (Marc) and cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Bradley, Brooke, Nolan, Maya, and Marisa.
Our dad, Lloyd, is going to be missed deeply and it is hard to capture his entire life in just a few words. Through sharing fond memories and laughter, his life will forever live in the deepest chambers of our hearts.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and aides on the 6th floor at St. Boniface Hospital.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral; instead, a private family gathering will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Lloyd Cottes to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
