Llewellyn Lew Burt 2022

Obituary of Llewellyn (Lew) Burt
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness the family of Llewellyn Burt announces his sudden passing on May 20, 2022, at his residence in Fort McMurray, AB.
Lew was born on January 9, 1962, in Virgin Arm, NL. He married Verna Blake on December 16, 1983, and had two daughters together.
Lew is survived by his loving wife Verna, his daughters Myrna, Stephanie (Logan), and Renee. His grandchildren Tyvon, Cassidy (Anton), Libby, Holden, Charlie, Lekeisha, Aiden, Raelynn and a large circle of family and friends.
Lew was a very devoted husband, father and poppy. He loved his family more than anything and would always find a way to bring them up to anyone he spoke with. He couldn’t wait for the weekends to come so they could get the grandkids over for a sleepover. Lew was an extremely hard worker who could be found in his last years working for Royal Crest Construction or doing odd jobs around Fort McMurray. He was very witty and loved to make people laugh. Anyone who knew Lew was always left with a joke or a funny story.
The family will be holding a celebration of life at 203 Breukel Crescent on June 19th, 2022, at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Lew’s family to help cover costs during this difficult time or plant a tree in Lew’s memory with Robert Anderson Funeral Services in Fort McMurray.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Llewellyn Lew
