Corrent Livio
Passed away peacefully at home on August 16, 2022 at the age of 86.
Survived by his devoted partner of 20 years, Josephine Carlini. Loving husband of the late Filomena Corrent (1999) of 27 years. Cherished father of David Corrent (Leni), Dan Corrent, Sonia Johnson (Tim) and Riccardo Corrent (Gabrielle). Adoring Nonno to Jacob, Mitchell, Carter, Max and Mason. Predeceased by his parents, Paolo and Filomena Corrent, parents-in-law Riccardo and Maria Quadrini, siblings Adelina, Maria and Domenico. Survived by many loving nieces,nephews, extended family, and friends. Born in Faller, Italy, Livio came to Canada at the age of 17. He worked several years as a mason, and then at General Motors, but his true passion was making concrete statuary. He was the proud owner of Corrent Ornamental Concrete, a fixture in the Windsor area for over 40 years. He could often be found in his workshop, making new molds or pouring concrete, as recently as last month. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated. Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Friends and family are invited to meet directly at St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Ave. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 9:30am for the funeral mass with entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest.
