Obituary
Lisa Langille, a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, niece; a dedicated and hardworking nurse; has passed away suddenly, in her own home, November 8th, 2022.
On November 22nd, 1974, Lisa was born in Toronto, Ontario, but soon moved up to North Bay, Ontario and went to college to become a registered practical nurse, graduating with high honours and excellence. Lisa worked at Cassellholme for 8 years, before giving birth to her daughter. She was a strong single mother until she met her common law, James, now creating a loving family.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Grace, and her love of her life Jamie. Lisa is survived by her loving brother Robert, mother and father Carole and Steve, her father-in-law Jim, her two stepsisters, Tracey and Mandy, her nieces and nephew (Jessy, Melissa (Missy), Courtney, Darrin, Loren, Brooke, and Samantha) and countless great nieces and nephews. Lisa is now joined with her uncle John, Grandpa McGill, her Hardshoe Grandma, her grandmother Rosie, and her mother-in-law Donna in heaven.
“Every nurse was drawn to nursing because of the desire to care, to serve, or to help” and so she did, with pride.
Lisa’s Celebration of life will be held in Haileybury in the spring, where she loved to be and has lived for over 15 years. Family and friends will be notified when a set date is placed. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
