Lisa Rideout
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lisa J. Rideout (nee Bennett) announce her passing on October 6th, 2022, at Paradise, NL at the age of 51 years.
Predeceased by parents, Hettie and John Bennett; father in-law, Stan Rideout and friend, Perry Drake.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Craig; sons, Brandon and Evan; brothers, Fred (Pam), Alex; mother in-law, Marjorie (Eugene); brothers in-law, Barry and daughter Thea, Cory (Catherine) and son Hudson; nephew, Jeffrey (Shanda) and children, Anna and Nate; niece, Destiny (Kris); best friends and soul sistas, Michelle (Kevin and Parker) and Tammy (Chris and Lauren).
Also leaving to mourn are special friends, Dominique, Andrea, Shelley, Tammy E., Ruby, Cathy, Sharon F., Meghan, Sharon G., Diane and Tash and Wendy at the office.; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Lisa was a realtor who took great pride in her work and won may awards. She loved assisting her valuable clients with finding their forever or perfect home. Lisa also loved to shop and travel.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and the Palliative Care Team. A very special thank you to Dr. Greenland for the care and respect shown to Lisa during her illness. The family are also very grateful to all Lisa’s friends and family who helped and showed support to Lisa in any way during this past year and especially to Sharon Foley who was always there at a moment’s notice.
The Rideout Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Fortune on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sunday, October 9th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will take place at on Monday, October 10th, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the United Church in Grand Bank.
As per Lisa’s wishes, cremation will follow.
Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Lisa’s memory.
