Obituary of Lionel Dalton Jacobs
JACOBS: Lionel Dalton “Father”
Passed away peacefully at his home on Monday July 18, 2022. Lionel Jacobs of Curve Lake in his 71st year. Lionel began his career working at Outboard Marine Corp., in Peterborough before becoming an electrician and working on several homes and businesses in the area. He is loved and missed by his wife Deborah Jacobs (Irons) and by his sons Marc (Terri) of Peterborough, Russell (Lori), Duane (Tanya) and Jeremy Irons (Michelle), all of Curve Lake. Dear grandpa of Grant, Kristopher, Bryerson, Jayden, Russell Jr., Louis, Nathalie, Katryna, Nolan, Karlie, Arieana, Cruz and great grandchildren Maddison, Dawson and Rowan. He is survived by his brothers Mel, Ken and Leland Jacobs, all of Curve Lake, sister Katherine Knott of Brantford, sister-in-law Donna Whetung of Curve Lake and several nieces and nephews. Lionel will also be missed by the entire Irons family, his dear friends Janice & Jordy, god children Wes & Sam Coppaway and many close friends. Predeceased by his parents Dalton and Dorothy, sisters Arlene Taylor, Wilma Jacobs-Taylor (Winston), brothers Jack Whetung, Willard Jacobs and sisters-in-law Beth and Sandy Jacobs. Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives may call at the CURVE LAKE CHURCH, on Monday July 25, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Curve Lake Church on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception at the Curve Lake Community Centre.
