Obituary of Linda O’Leary
Passed peacefully away in the presence of loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Saturday, February 12, 2022, Linda O’Leary of Blackhead, age 69 years.
Predeceased by grandson: Bowen; parents: Edward and Theresa Delaney.
Leaving to mourn, husband: Ron; two sons: Robert (Trina), Langdon, AB and Rodney (Loretta), St. Philips; four grandchildren: Liam, Logan, Ellexa, and Ryder; seven brothers: Edward (Linda) Delaney, Gull Island, Paul (Marguerite) Delaney, Harbour Breton, Tim (Nora) Delaney, Northern Bay, Vince (Donna) Delaney, Placentia, Tony (Elaine) Delaney, Gull Island, Fabian (Janice) Delaney, Clarenville, and Harold (Kim) Delaney, Morinville, AB; two sisters: Geraldine Delaney (Allen), Ontario and Anne Marie Delaney (George), Broad Cove; brother-in-law: Bill (Ruth) O’Leary, Adam’s Cove; sisters-in-law: Helen O’Leary (Russell) White, Codroy Valley and Trudy (Arch, deceased) Keeping, Corner Brook; many nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
Following pandemic guidelines, visitation by invitation only at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, February 17 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
A family funeral service to be held on Friday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Following the service, a reception will take place from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Salem Hall, Small Point, ensuring pandemic safety protocols.
Proof of vaccination required for visitation and funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Gussets Cove Cemetery Restoration Project.
