Obituary of Linda Austin (Vanhooser)
Lindalou Ellen Austin (nee Vanhooser) passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee following a brief illness on Monday, February 7, 2022, in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Larry Austin of Selby. Dear mother of Scott and cherished step-mother of Tammy (Len), Mark (Sam) and Angie (Bill). Lovingly remembered by Ashley and Trisha, and by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Gary (Elsie), Peter (Kathleen), Kathleen, Susan (Jack) and Wendy (Roger). Predeceased by her siblings Don (Rosemary), Jim (Linda), Roland (Betty) and Janet, and by her brothers-in-law Dennis and Edwin Austin. Fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law; Wayne and Barbara Austin, Leonard and Betty Austin and Julia Austin, and by several nieces and nephews and their families.
A private family Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Napanee on Friday, February 11, 2022. For those desiring, memorial donations to a charity of choice will be remembered with appreciation by the family.

  1. Larry and girls. You are in our thoughts today I am so sorry we could not get down for service due to many reasons. I will miss Linda very much. What I wouldn’t give for another call from her and hear her giggles about nothing that made sense at all.
    We will keep in touch I appreciate everything you have done for Linda in a extremely hard situation. Hugs to all. Love Susan and Jack.
