Obituary for Linda Thomas
Linda Louise ‘LT’ or Red Stone Woman, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the age of 65. Linda was the daughter of the late Earl Pinnance Sr. and Evangeline Fisher Johnson. Loving mother of Christina (Mike), Clint and Shayna (Dylan). Cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 5. Sister of Lori, Wayne (Jen), Garnet, Jeffrey, Ellen, Eric, and the late Louis, Leona, Ava and Jerome. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. An employee of Canada Post, Linda was known as the ‘Mail Lady’ of Walpole Island. Family and friends are invited to Christina’s home, 632 Chief’s Road North on Walpole Island for visitation on Thursday and Friday, until the funeral at 11 AM on Saturday, April 29.
